Who We Are

Some things never change. People are happiest, healthiest, and free when they grow their our own food and live in small family-oriented communities.  Especially communities of the same folk and Christian ideals.

A country is stronger when it’s people don’t rely on the local Walmart and grocery store for every need. 

We understand that not everyone is in the financial place to buy acres of land and start a homestead. This blog and organization aims to present any and every helpful resource and idea that can promote families becoming more self-sufficient, stable, and free.

Ranchstead desires to see our nation and people strengthened by a pursuit of more self-sufficient lifestyles that encourage a balance between technology, God, and the natural world. Our peoples have engaged in homesteading agricultural practices and ranching for over 6,000 years and there is no reason to stop now.
